Update on the Drug Kingpins Linked to GHB Trafficking in Tuscaloosa
Posted: September 17, 2017 - 12:21am ct
The 2015 rape case involving University of Alabama honors student Megan Rondini and local playboy Terry Jackson "Sweet T" Bunn, Jr., prompted a two-month long investigation into drug and sex trafficking in Tuscaloosa. The investigation started with the role of the popular "date rape" drug GHB in Megan's rape case and quickly spread to the trafficking of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine (a/k/a "Ice"), and other popular illegal drugs on the college scene.

The "street" dealers in this drug ring were relatively easy to identify and have been discussed in past articles on the Megan Rondini rape case and Adam Bailey murder case.

Unmasking the kingpins required exhaustive research into the family histories, business backgrounds, and "dark side'" of well-known figures on the oligarchy scene in and around Tuscaloosa. Two of these kingpins are linked directly to the Crimson Tide Foundation.
The article from this in-depth investigation on the drug kingpins is nearly complete. We are working on the charts and graphics that will accompany the article. The article will be ready for publication soon.

I am looking forward to this. No one in this town, with its crimson and white plastered on every corner, gives a crap about justice. The only thing that seems to count in this town is football. I'm leaving this town when I get a chance. People argue that there is corruption anywhere you go, but this town is a certain deep level of disgusting. Thank you for what you do. No one else is doing it.
