After 32 years at WSFA 12 News, Bob Howell says goodbye - WSFA.com: Montgomery, AL. - Long time news anchor Bob Howell is retiring from television, ending more than 32 years working at WSFA 12 News. The News at 6:00 on Wednesday, May 23 will be Bob's last newscast. Bob's presence in the river region has represented a standard of excellence anchoring news on WSFA and has been a fixture on television sets in central Alabama for more than five decades. He has had the job of delivering the day's news to thousands of viewers with a calm, trusted, steady and caring approach through difficult, challenging and happy times.

Horrow - Controversy has bubbled up at a small high school in Eastern Oregon after a volunteer track coach was let go because she took a 17-year-old boy to his prom in April. Melissa Bowerman, 41, who had been coaching the Condon/Wheeler track and field team with her 73-year-old husband, Jon Bowerman, was ousted this month in a phone call from school officials. Jon Bowerman is the son of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman.
