Donald V. Watkins UA Trustees, while you ponder my suggested course of action in Megan's case, please know that she was failed by the people at the very top of the Tuscaloosa law enforcement chain. This includes the Sheriff and former DA Lyn Head. This failure has angered dedicated career professionals within the law enforcement community. The two investigators referenced in my letter would not have handled Megan's case the way they did if these investigators had not been ordered by higher ups to do so. T.J. "Sweet T" Bunn, Jr., who privately refers to himself as the "Bubble Bath Bandit", will escape justice only if you fail to do your job. The University has failed Megan once. Please do not let President Bell and his staff fail Megan again.
