Thyroid Hormone - The Most Overlooked Treatment For Fibromyalgia - HypoThyroidMom.com - A reader named Jules contacted me a few months ago with chronic pain from fibromyalgia so bad she was struggling to walk and to take care of her young son. Her symptoms included extreme swelling, fatigue, hair loss, pressure in her throat, and loss of the outer-third of her eyebrows. Anyone who has read my article 300+ Hypothyroidism Symptoms…Yes REALLY would consider hypothyroidism as a possible cause, and yet doctor after doctor insisted her thyroid was fine with a normal TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). They insisted her symptoms especially her pain from fibromyalgia could not possibly be thyroid related. Turns out Jules had several large thyroid tumors pressing up against her throat.

Too easy to say Bear Bryant was too slow to integrate Alabama football (Kevin Scarbinsky) | AL.com -One of those early pioneers, Sylvester Croom, knew Bryant better than most. Croom played and coached for Bryant at Alabama and later became the SEC's first black head football coach at Mississippi State. Given his own stature, Croom deserves the last word on Bryant's legacy in this area. He shared his thoughts in 2012 with NOLA.com. "I really don't think it would have been possible for Coach Bryant to have brought black players on the team any earlier than he did," Croom said. "Coach Bryant knew what was going on at the other schools, and he always knew what he was doing - and did it at the right time." On this subject, when Croom speaks, the rest of us would do well to listen.
McIlroy: Chamblee 'was completely wrong' - USATODAY - "Yeah, I think Brandel was completely wrong. I don't think he has the authority to say anything like that about Tiger Woods," the two-time major champion and former No. 1 McIlroy said, according to the Agence France-Presse. "People wouldn't know who Brandel Chamblee was if it wasn't for Tiger Woods, so I am completely against what he said and I think he should be dealt with in the right way."
