Wonderful Memories with Preacher Jerry Spencer - Tim Willis just sent me this great photo and said - 'Those were the days my friend!!' -- No Doubt, They were unforgettable times, wonderful memories with the incredible Jerry Spencer. Jan 14, 1996: Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan, AL. Bro Jerry welcomed Brad Delp, the majestic lead singer of the band Boston and called us up on stage and presented Brad with a Bible. Brad was very grateful to Bro Jerry and the warm welcome he received. Bro Jerry loved people Just As I Am -- Just As They Are. That alone made him a wonderful man and a powerful preacher. He preached with passion and loved with compassion for others.- The next day Brad Delp joined Braves catcher Javy Lopez for a meet and greet autograph session in Dothan - Hosted by The Coach and The Meck Radio Show. Over 5 thousand showed up and Brother Jerry was front row and having a great time. He opened and blessed our event with prayer. Bro Jerry was one of God's Angels on Earth. He was one of the greatest preachers I've ever heard and a wonderful friend to me. I have many wonderful memories with Bro Jerry. This picture is one of my all time favorite memories.
