Mayors make stop in Hong Kong - Dothan Eagle - “It was an incredible meeting to visit the chief executive of Hong Kong,” Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz said in a written statement. “He understood and was grateful about what we are trying to do in China and he said he would help us. It’s probably one of the best business meetings we have had.” --- “Dothan’s mayor got to sit where not even many state level officials have ever sat,” said SoZo Group founder Ray Cheng, whose group organized the economic development trip. “We had a discussion about connecting local governments and it was very productive. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in Alabama soon.”
