Auburn football notes: Joe Bagwell was an 'Auburn man' | Columbus Ledger Enquirer / Aaron Brenner -- Joe Bagwell never was a football player, but he sure was a football lifer. The student assistant who died unexpectedly Saturday before Auburn played at Jordan-Hare Stadium in its 12-10 loss to then-No. 2 LSU was popular among his peers in the Auburn football program, as well as back home in Huntsville, Ala.
