Based upon newly discovered evidence arising from the Southern Company's racketeering activity and accounting fraud schemes, Grain Management's 2014 FCC waiver, as well as the firm’s 2021 successful FCC license bid award discussed below, may arouse the interest of the House Judiciary Committee, chaired by Rep. This is the man who has guided the Southern Company and its affiliates into the biggest legal mess in company history. This man is Joe Perkins' real boss. Perkins is the "Pit Bull" who Kerr unleashes to maul Southern Company critics, without consequences. He is Perkins' groomer, handler, and enabler. He has finally been unmasked. This is the man who orchestrates how often and when the Southern Company and its affiliates rape their customers. This is the face of corporate greed and power. This is who we must defeat in the campaign to liberate the Southern Company from the searing flames of corruption. This man is single-handedly destroying a great company for his own self-aggrandizement.

The real problem at the Southern Company lies with the conduct of corporate executives in Atlanta, not the ones in Birmingham. - I am hoping that incoming CEO Chris Womack can extricate the Southern Company from this mess. - Donald Watkins

These executives lost sight of the corporate mission of a great company. I am hoping that incoming CEO Chris Womack can extricate the Southern Company from this mess. I have known Chris since 1987 when he was campaigning for Dick Gephardt for president of the United States. Gephardt lost, but Chris won my admiration and respect with his intellect, business acumen, focus, and vision for the future. I consider Chris Womack a friend, not an adversary. I want Chris to be successful in his new job. As CEO Tom Fanning exits the Southern Company at the end of this month, Southern Company board members and shareholders should demand that Chris Womack act in a decisive way to cleanup the company and its affiliates, from top to bottom. No subordinate or external parasite should get in Chris' way. Right now, many of the Southern Company's board members and top corporate executives DO NOT trust each other. Some of them are taping their conversations with each other. No CEO of a major Wall Street corporation can successfully run his/her company under these unbearable circumstances. My job is to spotlight the nature and scope of enterprise-threatening problems for this major publicly traded company. The cleanup function belongs to others.

Donald Watkins: The Southern Company, Alabama Power, Georgia Power, and Mississippi Power operate monopolies within their markets. - Nearly every politician with an ounce of influence has sold-out to these big power companies.

If we do not pay our electric bills, they will cut the power to our homes. They take our money and buy off local, state, and federal politicians in order to increase our power bills. The taxpayers of Alabama Power actually guarantee Alabama Power a 5% annual rate of return on their shareholders' investment. The business arrangement between Alabama Power and the state's taxpayers is nothing but socialism. It's all a racket. Nearly every politician with an ounce of influence has sold-out to these big power companies. State and federal prosecutors are afraid to stop their crime sprees. This is why power company customers get raped, over and over again. In Washington, big money talks -- loud. Just ask Wells Fargo Bank how it avoided a criminal prosecution for its acknowledged crime spree of 230 major offenses since 2000. The weakest federal prosecutors in America work for Joe Biden and Merrick Garland. What is more, a state attorney general would rather pee in his/her pants than prosecute a power company. Wall Street criminals have nothing to fear in this state of being.

Donald Watkins: Did Deloitte & Touche fail to detect an ongoing racketeering enterprise and a companion accounting fraud scheme in its annual audits of the Southern Company just like Ernst & Young missed it with HealthSouth?

Did the Southern Company fully comply with its Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for those years? Does Joe Biden's Department of Justice care about the financial accuracy of the Southern Company's 10-Q and 10-K filings for those years, or is the company's compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley a matter that is beyond the Department's expertise and resources? Did Deloitte & Touche fail to detect an ongoing racketeering enterprise and a companion accounting fraud scheme in its annual audits of the Southern Company just like Ernst & Young missed it with HealthSouth? We will bring you the answers to these burning questions in a series of upcoming articles.
