Mr Meckley was one of the 30 founding members at TPC Sawgrass. He was also Cleveland Golf’s First Tour Rep. Plus he later worked for Ben Hogan Golf and Wood Bros. - When he retired he took great pride (as a founding member) mowing greens for the Great Fred Klauk at TPC Sawgrass even the 17th green during The Players Championship. He announced on the PGA Tour on radio in the early 1970s.
