How Rebekah Caldwell Mason changed Gov. Robert Bentley | - John Archibald - He told Alabamians there was no physical relationship. When confronted with those comments he rephrased like Bill Clinton. "What I'm saying is there was no sexual activity." Former staff members say Dianne Bentley, who last year filed for divorce after 50 years of marriage, demanded that Mason, who she referred to as "that woman," be kept out of the Capitol. But Bentley chose Mason instead. And the family values governor was gone. And so was his family.
