Sports talk icon Paul Finebaum visits Montgomery - WSFA.com - While in town, WSFA 12 News asked the sports talk icon what he thought of the O'Bannon ruling, which opens the door for college athletes to be paid after their careers. "It's going to be appealed, and it will be appealed," Finebaum said. "And it's going to be in court for a long time. But I think the headline is: 'The NCAA is dead.'" Finebaum adds, "This is a shot across the bow at Mark Emmert. He's done a miserable job of running this organization. In fact, he's run it right into the ground. But no one will shed a tear. No one feels sorry for the NCAA."
