Tickets for BCS National Championship game are historically cheap | For The Win - Ticket prices to Monday night’s game are going for hundreds of dollars less than they did last year and are even cheaper than some of the top NCAA football match-ups over the past season on the secondary ticket market. “It’s totally unprecedented,” said Jesse Lawrence, the CEO of TiqIQ, where tickets are selling for an average of $374 (as of post time). The ticket prices are less than half that paid for tickets to the Rose Bowl this year and the average, according to Lawrence, are hovering around $500 less than fans paid for the Alabama at Texas A&M game this season.
