Know Your Enemy - By Donald V. Watkins - In 2013, Alabama Governor Robert Bentley launched an aggressive attack against me for challenging his reckless destruction of Alabama State University, the institution of higher education where my father spent 20 years as its president. However, Bentley made a fundamental mistake: He did not know my character, personal value system, work ethic, or the Watkins family’s 186-year history in America.
