Today's Alabama Reporter story exposed incredible details about Governor Robert Bentley's order to state law enforcement officials to use the National Crime Information Center, (NCIC) and the Law Enforcement Tactical System (LETS) and other agencies to find any incriminating evidence that might be used against Legal Schnauzer blogger Roger Shuler and me. The governor's misuse of the NCIC and LETS is now the subject of a federal probe. It is also the subject of a 2015 lawsuit I filed against the Securities and Exchange Commission in Atlanta federal court for wrongfully using its investigative powers to further the governor's unlawful targeting of me in a situation where the agency has absolutely no jurisdiction over my businesses.
