Family of victim in Jameis Winston assault case questions Tallahassee police conduct - Orlando Sentinel - Brendan Sonnone - A Tallahassee detective investigating Winston’s involvement in the assault refused to collect Winston’s DNA or interview at least one witness, according to a written statement released by the victim’s family to the Tampa Bay Times. The family wrote Tallahassee police detective Scott Angulo told the woman’s attorney, “Tallahassee was a big football town and the victim needs to think long and hard before proceeding against him because she will be raked over the coals and her life will be made miserable.”
