Nigerian native earns U.S. citizenship - Dothan Eagle: News - There is no more appropriate place for Righto Engino to celebrate Independence Day than the repair shop at Dothan’s Hyundai dealership. - Righto came to the United States in February 2000 at the age of 36. He began to search for work and walked into the downtown office at Mike Schmitz Automotive in April. He was hired as a temporary fill-in for a worker who was on a two-week leave. Righto spent two weeks cleaning the floors. When the worker returned from leave, no one wanted to see Righto go. So they decided to keep him. -- “We had to give him the keys to the dealership because he was here before we got here and he was here well after we left,” Schmitz said.
