Gulf Coast congressman drops opposition to Sandy aid | al.com - U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo, R-Miss., said he will vote in favor of providing aid to victims of Super Storm Sandy after touring areas damaged by the storm, reversing his earlier opposition. Palazzo was one of 67 House Republicans who voted last week against a bill to allocate $9.7 billion to pay flood insurance claims from Sandy, which struck the Atlantic coast in late October.
