Hyundai continues sales records in 2012 - WSFA 12 News Montgomery, AL | - Hyundai Motor America announced another round of all-time sales records Friday saying January 2012 sales figures were up 15 percent over the same period last year. The company moved 42,694 units during the first month of the year. January retail sales were up 19 percent from last year, according to Hyundai. The Montgomery, Alabama built Elantra's sales are up 13 percent and the Genesis/Equus sales are up 27 percent over last year.
