Woody Paige: What's the deal with Jim Tracy's deal? - The Denver Post - I've been trying to figure out this O'Dowd-Tracy accord for days, and I still don't get it. The players and the general population don't, either. Why doesn't O'Dowd, like normal people, give Tracy a three-year extension or have him play out the final season of his current contract? After all, he is the best manager of the five in the Rockies' 20-season history and the only one with a winning record.
