Game on: Delta, Southwest duke it out | AJC.com - Kelly Yamanouchi - Dallas-based Southwest and Atlanta-based Delta airlines are waging their 2012 Battle of Atlanta on the airwaves, on billboards and online. It’s driven by Southwest’s launch of service at Hartsfield-Jackson in February and Delta counterpunching to defend its citadel hub. Delta needles Southwest and its all coach seating in an ad: “Improving first class begins by offering one.” Ouch! Southwest has its own zinger on checked luggage: “Say bye-bye to bag fees, Atlanta.” Oh, snap!

Petrino Texted With ’08 Miss Bikini USA? - Yardbarker - Deadspin reported on Thursday that Petrino, in addition to thousands of texts with former employee Jessica Dorrell, exchanged 200 text messages over a two-month period last fall with a 26-year-old woman named Alison Melder. That includes seven picture messages sent from Melder to Petrino (we can only imagine what those were of…). Some intrepid reporting by Deadspin shows that Melder listed herself as the winner of “2008 Miss Bikini USA” and “Miss Motorcycle Mania.” She has also had a cameo on the gossip website “The Dirty.” - Melder is now listed as a senate assistant with the Republican Party of Arkansas living in Little Rock.

Report: Jessica Dorrell Wasn't the Only Other Woman for Bobby Petrino : RantSports.com - Kris Hughes - Bobby Petrino burned plenty of bridges in his early coaching career as he jumped from Louisville, to the Atlanta Falcons, to Arkansas– torching everyone in his path and leaving each situation with a complete and utter lack of general professional courtesy. Karma’s a bitch when you burn bridges, and it appears there are plenty of people out there willing to deliver what Bobby Petrino has sewn. If anything, you have to feel for his family who are the true losers in this situation. Nothing positive will be said about the father of four anytime soon, and his wife and children must deal with the constant stress and speculation that will abound until the press decides to move on. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and the flames under the Bobby Petrino situation have just started to burn.
