Its 11:53 on Sat nite and a bitterly cold 28 degrees with a wind chill of 19. Are any Churches in Dothan - The Wiregrass - opening their million dollar church gyms tonite for the homeless and those who don't have good heating in their homes ? A cot to sleep on with a blanket and maybe some hot chocolate/coffee and snacks.?
Ask your pastor in the morning at your warm church - why didn't he open the million dollar church gym for the homeless in the bitter cold ? What a shame and disgrace. --
Thank Goodness for The Harbor Church in downtown Dothan. Just read they are a warming station Tonite and Sunday nite for those in Need. It looks like a small Church building with a HUGE Heart like Jesus -- and no million dollar gym.
Most of these Big Churches have become BIG BUSINESS - Pastors/CEO making 150k a year - Tone Deaf to Current Events - Locking their doors to those in Need - The Homeless on a Bitterly Cold Winter's Nite.
The Truth is with a Church on almost every Corner - No One Should be out in the Bitter Cold tonite or any nite - Not One. What a shame and disgrace that Churches aren't open tonite - for Jesus Business. (Local and Nationwide)
