Report: AT&T to announce DirecTV deal Sunday - USATODAY - AT&T plans to announce Sunday its deal to buy satellite-TV provider DirecTV, sooner than previous reports indicated, according to BuzzFeed. - "The deal is done," a person familiar with the plan told the online news site. AT&T has been in talks to buy DirecTV for a price pegged at "low to mid $90s" per DirecTV share, which would value DirecTV at about $50 billion, USA TODAY and other news outlets reported earlier this week.
