Alabama coach Nick Saban discusses his 'tremendous amount of respect' for Paul Finebaum | al.com - Andrew Gribble - Nick Saban's relationship with Paul Finebaum was forged long before he became the Alabama coach. It's strong enough that Saban has periodically consulted with the longtime Birmingham sports talk radio host "from a public relations standpoint" in order to "brainstorm the best way to manage and handle certain situations," Saban said Wednesday. Saban, speaking on the weekly SEC teleconference, opened up about his "tremendous amount of respect" for Finebaum, who recently moved to Charlotte and launched a new version of The Paul Finebaum Show on ESPN's radio networks.
