You can imagine how many Titleists amateur duffers are putting in the drink. - Course officials say 140,000 balls per year end up in the water. And those aren’t just tee shots. As Steve DiMeglio of USA TODAY Sports writes, hitting from the drop zone is no piece of cake either.
