VIDEO: Ryan Howard hits home run for a blind fan | For The Win - USATODAY - During Teacher Appreciation Night at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia Friday night, Ryan Howard met with a 7-year-old boy named A.J., who was diagnosed with Leber’s congenital amaurosis. A.J. presented Howard with a special bracelet to wear during the game, and had only one request — he wanted the Phillies slugger to hit a home run. In the fifth inning against Miami Marlins pitcher Ricky Nolasco, Howard delivered.
