It came from the crowd that had formed a horseshoe around Woods, who was in the trees left of the cart path and could not see that García was hitting. Woods’s decision to take a wood out of his bag had excited his fans who wanted to see him take an aggressive approach. After García sliced his shot into the trees to the right of the green, he slapped his right thigh and glared in the direction of the fans.
