Video: A-Rod hits record 23rd grand slam to tie Gehrig - USATODAY - The New York Yankees third baseman hit his 23rd grand slam, tying Hall of Famer Lou Gehrig. Manny Ramirez has 21, followed by Eddie Murray with 19 and Willie Mays and Robin Ventura with 18. Rodriguez took a 3-2 pitch from Atlanta Braves reliever Jonny Venters and drilled a line drive over the fence in left field at Turner in the eighth inning. The home run tied the game.
