Kid who caught A-Rod's HR to tie Lou Gehrig did so in his hat » Bob's Blitz - 15-year-old Yankee fan Randy Kearns of Eastern Randolph High caught the grand slam in his cap and later returned the ball to Arod. “I thought it’d be cool to give it back to him,” said Kearns, who had driven 5 hours from North Carolina to see the game. “Nice catch!” A-Rod said when he met Kearns -- giving him a signed jersey, bat, and baseballs. The two posed for pictures.
