US Airways Cuts Deal with Unions - The Daily Beast - US Airways filed forms with the Securities and Exchange Commission in a key move toward a takeover of the bankrupt American Airlines, CBS reported Friday. A successful merger will be a major feather in US Airways’s cap, and the company has been working toward the deal for some time, lobbying in Congress and working with major American Airlines unions and creditors
