Solomon: 'Bubba from Bagdad' now a major golf name - Houston Chronicle - He is self-taught. Self-motivated. And not afraid of self. The guy has a pink driver, for goodness sakes. The next golf lesson he takes will be his first. His game might be reckless, but at least it is his game. He goes down swinging. Or, on a day like this, when he bags his first major victory, he stands tall swinging away. As his name suggests, Watson is more than a little bit country. He calls himself Bubba from Bagdad, a tiny town of some 1,500 people in the far northwest corner of the Florida Panhandle. The Deep South. He attended the University of Georgia. He made a six-figure purchase of a General Lee, the Confederate Flag-bearing muscle car from the TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard." He's also a little bit rock and roll. That's him, barefoot and shirtless in blue-jean overalls, swaying a little off beat and rapping a little off key with Rickie Fowler, Ben Crane and Hunter Mahan in the video for the single "Oh Oh Oh," a release by the PGA Tour's first and only boy band, the Golf Boys.
