Bo Jackson to throw first pitch; Braves picking 21st in draft | AJC - Former Auburn Heisman trophy winner and two-sport stud Bo Jackson will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Braves series finale Wednesday against the Mets, first pitch at 12:10 p.m. (ET). The former star for the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Royals and the first athlete to make All-Star teams in two major pro sports, is promoting his fundraiser “Bo Bikes Bama,” a 300-miles bike ride from Henagar, Ala. to Tuscaloosa raising money for tornado victims. Among the 100 cyclists scheduled to join him each day are Lance Armstrong, Ken Griffey, Jr., Desmond Howard, Scott Pippen and Picabo Street. For information, go to www.bobikesbama.com.
