Tebow Pledges to Put Team First With Jets - NYTimes.com - Ben Shpigel - Late Wednesday night, in a conference call, Tebow commended Ryan, whom he said he has admired ever since the Jets were featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” He praised Mark Sanchez, with whom he shared a “great conversation” over the phone. And he said he was looking forward to seeing how the Jets intend to use him — in short yardage, in the red zone and, perhaps most prominently, in the Wildcat formation. “I always try to put the team first, and however I can help the team, that’s what matters,” he said.
