Noreen Harrington: The Mets’ Madoff Whistle-Blower - The Daily Beast - Noreen Harrington told Mets co-owner Saul Katz that Bernie Madoff’s rosy results had to be either pure fiction or the product of illegal trading. Her testimony was one reason the team’s owners have agreed to pay $162 million to Madoff’s victims.
