OUR VIEW: Alabama's overreaching immigration law is showing itself to be far more trouble than it could possibly be worth | Birmingham News - Once lawmakers get to where they can admit they made a huge mistake, they must fix this fiasco. They can protect Alabama jobs by adopting E-Verify, the federal system that checks immigration status.
