Donald V. Watkins The University of Alabama has taken no actions to disavow or condemn the conduct of Sheriff Ron Abernathy, his investigators, or Sweet T in this rape case. The University abandoned Megan Rondini, one of its brightest honors students, in her greatest time of need in order to embrace Sweet T and align itself with Ron Abernathy. The Bunn family's strong tie to the Crimson Tide football program has trumped all considerations of criminal justice in Megan Rondini's rape case. The ST Bunn aircraft below has been used by the Athletics Department on a frequent basis. There was no way Megan Rondini could compete with the Bunn family's clout and resources in her quest for justice in Tuscaloosa.
