Former NBA All-Star accepts Donald Sterling’s apology: ‘forgiveness will destroy racism’ | For The Win - Three-time All-Star Gilbert Arenas wrote on Instagram Tuesday that he accepts the apology of maligned Clippers owner Donald Sterling following his lifetime ban from the NBA. Sterling denied that he is a racist in his first extended television interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper Monday night, and also called his racially insensitive comments “stupid” and “uneducated.” Gilbert Arenas, for one, is willing to give Sterling a second chance.
