Even tougher than than tee shot at 17: The drop zone - USATODAY - Steve Dimeglio - One of the most photographed and cursed holes in all of golf lives in the minds of players every year during The Players Championship, an "island" green that presents a daily confrontation of potential ruin. Situated in an amphitheater of fans and trees but exposed to winds that can whip up into the worst part of nasty a player can imagine, the hole is where some scorecards go to die.
