It was a message from their daughter in law, which told them to create makeshift helmets by using kitchen pots to put on their heads. It was advice that proved to be life-saving.

“We did put big cooking pots over our head,” Greg Molinari told AL.com’s Mike Cason. "Saved our lives. The ceiling crashed in on us.”
