The AL.com editorial below is well-written and clear -- Roy Moore is grossly unfit for office. I concur with every word of this editorial.
I am glad to see AL.com show some courage on this subject. The state's largest mainstream news organization has been "missing in action" in the high profile Megan Rondini rape case.
Politics aside, I am deeply troubled that a prosecutor would use his law enforcement position to further his sexual interest in young teenage girls. Like Senate leader Mitch McConnell and AL.com, I believe the women in Moore's pedophilia case.
As a parent of a daughter, this case makes me sick. As a spiritual person, I cannot understand the silence of Alabama's religious community in Moore's pedophilia case, except for the 50 or so pastors who openly support Moore. As a caring human being, I cannot sit in silence and normalize the misconduct described by the women who say they were victimized by Moore.
