Cooper Shattuck Resigns
Governor Robert Bentley's former legal adviser has resigned as General Counsel to the University of Alabama System. This is a major development in the "sex for power" scandal that has engulfed Bentley and First Mistress Rebekah Mason.
Shattuck ran the "dark money" slush fund that Bentley used to pay Mason for her "love" and personal services after the 2014 election ended. The fund was shut down after we exposed it in our exclusive "Forbidden Love" and "Executive Betrayal" series of investigative articles.
The Bentley-Mason criminal indictments are on their way. The fallout and collateral damage from Bentley's public corruption and racketeering scandal will be massive.
