Delta dedicates an airplane to Mariano Rivera | For The Win - USATODAY - It’s not actually his own private jet, but the special Delta Airlines 757 will have Rivera’s signature and number in pinstripes on the side of the plane. Rivera and manager Joe Girardi threw a symbolic “last pitch” inside the hangar and the airline will give a custom mini version of the plane to Rivera at Tuesday’s MLB All-Star Game. The 43-year-old closer has 29 saves in 31 opportunities this season.
