Flash Flood Threat Continues this Weekend - Weather.com - Soggy and Stormy Weekend - In the Florida Panhandle, Inlet Beach has picked up a whopping 21.48 inches of rain since Tuesday night. Long-time residents of Panama City, Fla. mentioned flooding on July 4th was among the worst they'd seen, with several cars stalled in deep water. Water had reportedly entered 12 homes in and near Vernon, Fla. Thursday morning. In nearby Walton County, there were 87 reports of water over roads or flood-damaged roads.
