Jim, Jeanie Buss not talking? - Yardbarker - Back in November after Mike Brown was fired and Phil Jackson was toyed with about the Lakers head coaching position, Jeanie Buss tweeted a question to the First Lady, Michelle Obama. Jeanine asked for advice on being made to feel bad about loving and supporting your man. Clearly Jeanie and Jim are at odds over the hiring of Mike D’Antoni and the way Jeanie’s fiance, Phil Jackson, was treated in the process. Per Kevin Ding of the Orange County Register, the brother and sister haven’t spoken since D’Antoni was brought on board.

LeBron James tackles fan who hit halfcourt shot (VIDEO) - USATODAY - Michael Drysch, 50, took a halfcourt shot following the third quarter of Friday's Miami Heat home game against the Detroit Pistons. He drained it. He won $75,000. LeBron went crazy. - James bolted from the huddle to congratulate/hug/tackle Drysch. It was a pretty great moment for everyone involved. -- Drysch said he had been practicing the shot the past two days and only made it once during his workouts. He received a tip from a friend in the arena tunnel as he was warming up to take the shot. - "They told me to put some spin on the ball, and get it up there as high as I could," Drysch said. "I had made that shot something like 1 percent of the time in my life."

Paul Finebaum hits highlights from career at Gardendale Chamber banquet, jokes about being off air | al.com - Sarah A. McCarty - "Please excuse me if this speech lasts for five hours cause I really haven't had anything else to work on since Monday night," Finebaum said. He continued the string of jokes throughout, including thanking Gardendale for giving him somewhere to go. ---- Finebaum said. "About a year after we started on satellite, we got a call one day from a guy in Iowa. And I must admit I wasn't really sure what he was talking about. Then we got a call a second time and by the third time, we all started paying close attention and we all began to understand him a lot better." - Finebaum was speaking of frequent caller Robert of Waterloo, Iowa. Robert is 33 years old, has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. Finebaum eventually flew out to visit Robert. - "It was the most remarkable experience," Finebaum said. "As we drove down the street, everyone had put out their Iowa Hawkeye black and gold flags. We got in the house. It reminded me of growing up. The mom had deviled eggs and fried chicken and all the food out. We just had the greatest time. We took Robert to a sports bar. And the parents told me it was the greatest day of his life. You think about what you can do to help someone, and I thought to myself, this is remarkable."
