Early voting results 2012: Update - Associated Press - POLITICO.com - About 30 million people have already voted in 34 states and the District of Columbia, either by mail or in person. No votes will be counted until Tuesday but some key states are releasing the party affiliation of those who vote early.

Many pundit predictions favor Obama - USATODAY - Nate Silver, whose FiveThirtyEight blog has been much discussed this election season, says the president now has an 86.3% chance of winning the Electoral College on Tuesday against Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Silver projects around 307 electoral votes for Obama; 270 are needed to win. - Meanwhile, the "crystal ball" at the University of Virginia Center for Politics predicts a 290-248 electoral victory for the president.
