Nielsen: Smartphone owners now the majority - USATODAY - Smartphone ownership has now reached the majority, albeit by a slim margin, says a Nielsen survey. As of March, 50.4% of U.S. mobile subscribers owned a smartphone, up from 47.8% last December.

The daughter and son of Richard Ritchie say PepsiCo is interfering with their ability to market or sell the rights of their father's life story and documents detailing his 1931 soda formula.
