US auto sales sizzle in March - Reuters - Auto sales rose about 13 percent in March as consumers energized by an improving job market replaced aging vehicles and took advantage of cheap financing. The strong March sales rounded out the best quarter for U.S. vehicle sales since 2008 and raised the prospect that major automakers would have to scramble to boost production and lift cautious full-year sales forecasts.

But it will be his 25th year as the host making this his Silver Anniversary broadcast. So talking to Nantz the other day via phone he was more than happy to talk about his favorite week of the year. JW: What is this week like for you? Nantz: "This is the best week of my year. Really to have the honor to broadcast the Final Four on Saturday then to do the Final on Monday night is amazing. After the broadcast we head to hotel get a good night’s sleep and off we go to Augusta where we get ready for all the history that is the Masters. I am truly a very lucky man.”

His first assignment will be to tape an interview with Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player for replay during the network’s late-night coverage to air at 10:35 p.m. Thursday and Friday (April 5 and 6). “You talk about a mental switch,” Nantz said. “You can go from being right there at midcourt in the Superdome, electric, crowning the national champion, tears flowing and ‘One Shining Moment’ playing, and then the next morning I’ll be sitting in Butler Cabin with three of the greats in the history of golf talking about Augusta. “That’s my life. I feel very fortunate to have all those things going on.”
