The Braves won 11 division titles and advanced to the playoffs in 12 of the 16 full seasons they shared together in Atlanta. But many baseball fans will remember that their relationship actually dates back to 1990, when Cox, then the Braves general manager, chose to select Jones with the first overall selection in the First-Year Player Draft.
