The Meck has learned Crown Automobile, a Birmingham Mercedes Dealership, has filed a lawsuit against Mercedes-Benz USA regarding the approval of Nick Saban's New Mercedes Dealership scheduled to open in the Birmingham, Al. area.

Crown Automobile has filed the lawsuit to protect their Mercedes franchise area. The word is Crown had no clue about a new Mercedes Dealership opening in Birmingham.

AL.com/Jeremy Gray's article on Dec 5, 2013 quotes city leaders saying a Baton Rouge car dealer is opening a Mercedes Dealership in Irondale.

A 'Baton Rouge car dealer' must be Nick Saban's business partner for the New Mercedes Dealership in Irondale/Birmingham.
