Dothan Mayor Mike Schmitz said he is encouraged by Lian’s intent to locate in Dothan, but said much work still has to be done before a final deal is struck. Schmitz said he is looking forward to the official U.S.-China Manufacturing Symposium March 26-28. Schmitz said more than 500 Chinese companies are registered to attend. He said community involvement will be important.
