The suit alleges Baxley facilitated transfers of a deed from Sampson to Griffin. The suit also alleges Baxley misrepresented the status of the deed on one of the properties when a bank inquired about it concerning a mortgage Griffin was seeking on the property. The suit makes claims of reckless misrepresentation, willful misrepresentation and tortuous interference with contract against Baxley and his firm.
